Terms and Conditions for Nurseries, Schools & Parents

 

Bookings

SK Academy Ltd offer an online booking service.  Once the booking form has been completed and submitted, your child will be successfully enrolled on the course and automatically agree to the clubs terms & conditions.

In the event that SK Academy cancel’s a session due to unsafe playing conditions as a result of poor weather conditions, parents / guardians will be notified prior to the event however no refunds will be given due to the nature of such event. Alternative indoor sessions will be provided either the same day or an alternate day to accomodate for the loss.

SK Academy cannot be held responsible for any injury caused whilst travelling to and from our events, or any injuries which may occur whilst participating in a contact sport such as football, hockey etc.  SK Academy cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to any personal belongings whilst in attendance on, or travelling to or from one of our events.

Medical Information

SK Academy must be made aware by the School, Nursery or parent / guardian of any medical condition that their child may have under liability.

Health & Safety

A full risk assessment will be carried out before any activity takes place

SK Academy ensures there is a emergency aid certificated person at every session.

For safety reasons it is compulsory for all children to wear shin pads when taking part in football / hockey above the age of 5.

Film / Photography

No pictures will be taken during any session inside schools or nurseries. SK Academy will only use pictures or films sent to them by the institute for promotional purposes and with the permission of the establishment.

Personal Property

SK Academy cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to any personal belongings whilst attending a SK Academy event.  Please ensure that no valuables are taken to the venue by your children.

It is the parent / guardian’s responsibility to ensure appropriate clothing is worn and / or available for their child for the activity provided and for changeable weather conditions.

Liability

SK Academy only accepts liability for personal injury or death of any participant attending a SK Academy activity directly caused by its negligence or negligence of its staff.

In the unlikely event that a child is injured during a session, parental consent is given to the education establishment for their staff to administer emergency aid treatment where necessary or to transfer the child to hospital if deemed necessary. In this event, all attempts to contact parents / guardians will be made using the contact numbers provided.

Child Protection

All SK Academy staff hold current child protection and DBS certification. In the event that a child makes a disclosure or a member of staff believes that the child is suffering from abuse we will act in accordance with our child protection policy, a copy of which is available on request to SK Academy

Complaints

In the event that you or your child are dissatisfied with the service we provide then please notify a member of staff at the event or make contact via email at SKSports@mail.com and your concern will be dealt with promptly.
