Well done to everyone that come along for the new Harlow Schools and Club football league at the Harlow Leisure Zone …What a fantastic first week of matches! There was some fantastic displays of footballing ability which has already gained interest from our Elite pathway affiliates.
SK Academy Harlow narrowly snatched the win after a late surge from The Panthers, which saw them score 3 goals in quick succession to bring the game back to 4-3 … With 4 minutes to go, great goalkeeping and defensive performances saw SK seal the victory with a late counter attack goal.
MAN OF THE MATCH: Finlay Catlin (Defender)
The second game of the evening saw England U8’s finish at half time 3-1 to the good … this could have been 4 should the referee not call time moments before superstar Allen lashed a shot in from the half-way line.
The second Half saw SK grow in confidence, this resulted in 2 brilliant long range attempts at goal which saw the game end in a draw.
