Well done to all the Cubs, Bears and SKA Elite players this evening....The boys and Girls in both sessions were Fantastic from start to finish, there is a real team spirit and development ethic becoming ingrained in our Soccerkidz and it is an extremely excited prospect for the future months ahead, when the "Super Soccerkidz Summer Season" begins!
West Ham Coach/Scout....."The Soccerkidz Academy players were a joy to coach, the facilities at Mark Hall Sports Centre are perfect for the children to have the capacity to develop their skills.... combined with the coaching structure set out by the Academy's head coach equates to a recipe for success. I will certainly be keeping close contact with "The SKA" regarding the development of the Academy and I hope to invite a few players for training/trials with our West Ham Academy teams when the opportunity presents itself.
Head Coach/Club Director Coach Ben...."Id like to say a big thank you to West Ham United for coming along this evening to coach our SKA Elite U6, U7 & U8 teams. The team made me so proud today... We have a long road ahead of us but the joy of watching the group show off their skills that we have been working on over the past few months re-instates each session why our team spirit continues to grow along with our Soccer talent....keep up the good work and imagine where we can be in a few months time when the sun comes out to play with us!"
SKA Elite Plan:
over the next month we will be working on building upon the skills we have learnt and to transfer them into game situations each week towards 5 v 5 match play. Our most difficult challenge, like most teams of their age will be to teach our players about spacial awareness on the field...however with the fast improvements being made each week, we are sure to accomplish this in no time!
NEXT SKA ELITE SESSION:
- Every Saturday @ Leventhorpe Leisure Centre, from 9:00-10:00 for ages 6 to 8 years
- Every Tuesday @ Mark Hall Sports Centre, from 5:00-6:00 for ages 6 to 8 years
(Both venues are indoors untill the weather improves and the Super Summer Soccerkidz Season begins!)
