Spring 2015 Newsletter – SK Football Academy

Spring 2015 Newsletter – SK Football Academy

Happy Spring to everyone, May 2015 will mark the 1 year milestone as well as the beginning of the SK Summer Soccer Season which promises to an amazing part of our clubs history with the introduction of our first under 7’s team ready for league and cup competitions.

We would like to start off by saying a big well done to everyone in our club from the Soccer kids to the Soccer coaches. Since the club was formed in May 2014, we have continued to progress, develop and grow into a highly reputable Football Club that prides itself on structured professional coaching that offers bundles of fun and a number of pathways leading to greater opportunities for the children and coaches.

Over the past 11 months we have been coaching throughout Essex and Hertfordshire in a number of Schools, Nurseries and football clubs and we are proud to be partner clubs with Westham United and the official youth development program for Sawbridgeworth Towns 2 to 6 years.

As the summer season draws closer we are preparing for the switch from indoors to outdoors, shortly after the Easter holidays.
The great outdoors offers our teams more opportunity in regard to developing their skills by offering a different style of coaching due to the space, surface and equipment at our disposal.

We have taken into account the unpredictable weather therefore all our venues will have a back up indoor facility in close proximity in case of unsuitable weather conditions....Please check our Facebook page “SK Academy” prior to attending a session, as if the weather is forecasted a “washout” the venue maybe changed or cancelled.....notifications of the change will be available no later than 1-hour before the start of first session.
