SEASON REPORT
It has been a stop start season for football this season … However, we have managed to cram in as many sessions and matches in between lockdowns as possible!
The new Under 7’s showed fantastic developments from the first game to their last.

The Under 8’s Bears remained competitive in the Brentwood League and showed each week how teamwork and passing is a fundamental part of the game, impressing parents and oppositions with their performances. A huge thank-you goes out to Coach Dan and Kamil for all the efforts they have put in for the BEARS!
The Under 8’s SK Sports playing in the Brentwood League had the best record in the Academy, winning every single game they played winning their Division and being the best team in the League. A handful of the players was also a permanent fixture in the Under 9’s team .. OUTSTANDING!! Oh hail Coach Driver!
The Under 9’s was impressive, jumping 5 divisions after successive promotions in the Brentwood league … The team will be promoted in the top division next season after winning all their games in their current division.
“The team have worked hard all season and have really become a team, difficult to break down and organised in their positions .. Our attitude is to try our best. listen and have fun .. The results will take care of them-self. Its going to be exciting playing in the top league next season and will offer scouting opportunities .. Its been a pleasure to coach the team and also thank-you to coach Cotch and Jason for stepping in when asked to maintain their 100% record.
The Under 10’s as ever have been the academy’s POSTER TEAM! The first team to of won a cup competition in our Academy … great team ethic and fantastic team and individual performers. They have lost only a handful of games over the past 3 seasons! Unfortunately, the time had come for the players to move elsewhere for different challenges as winning has got boring! All the best to the boys in their new teams next season .. TIME TO PASS THE MANTEL ON!
NOTE: We have secured the Link Social club in Harlow for next season home ground for our Sunday teams .. The link offer good family facilities which includes a burger van, car parking, bar and of course a football pitch. Our Saturday teams will continue to play at Bullfields Park, Sawbridgeworth on Saturdays.

END OF SEASON CELEBRATION
Due to the Covid restrictions making our annual presentation day difficult to accommodate the entire academy at once … we are leaving it down to the managers to organise their team presentations and pictures. The Academy will look to book a date at the start of September when the Kids are back to school, as booking anything during August would almost certainly leave many members out as a result of their holiday commitments.
SIGNING ON / AFFILIATIONS FOR NEXT SEASON 2021 TO 2022
Singing on fees for next season are ideally due by the 18th of July, this will show your childs commitment to one of our teams … in-hand helping us organise & register teams into leagues for the forthcoming season as well as assigning managers and training sessions. Signing on will cost £80 for the season and this will include team and player registrations, insurance, match day fees and team sports wear
NOTE: The kits will remain the same this Season and we would like to encourage getting an additional shirt for training.
