SK Academy Ltd, formally named Soccerkidz Ltd (April 2014 to December 2015) is a Specialist Early Years Sports coaching and development franchise that has engaged hundreds of youngsters over the past two years with a uniquely structured, pressure free, fun coaching style established within the local communities of Hertfordshire and Essex.

Founder Ben Doyle, an entrepreneurial Sports Graduate and FA qualified coach with over 10 years of Early years sports coaching experiences, has shown his desire to teach, motivate and inspire children through the Soccerkids Academy ... this has led "SK" to successfully gaining a reputation for being one of the best "Early Years Active-Sports" programs for young children in the region.

From April 2014 to May 2015, SK Academy focused on implementing a uniquely designed progressive football coaching program that is structured to enhance the key areas of child development in a pressure free, fun environment ... By using football and more recently Multi-Sports in Schools as a tool to engage, interact and teach young children the fundamental basics of Sports both physically and psychologically.

A Big Congratulations goes out to ARCHIE (6) and ZAK (7), pictured on the right for showing their talent, commitment and passion for football during our SK sessions this year.  The pair rightfully earned themselves a trial at the Colchester United Elite youth development centre through our scouting system ... of which they successfully proceeded through the initial two week trial and have continued to train each week towards a place in the Colchester United Under 8 Youth Academy. 

SK Academy will continue to maintain their commitment to developing every individual child in all age groups each year, with professionally structured weekly coaching that provides the Soccerkids with regular opportunities to improve upon their skills and chances of gaining trials with our partner clubs for further development, potentially leading onto elite performance.

During April 2014 SK Academy was formed, Starting out in Sawbridgeworth Town with just one early year's session of "2 to 4 year olds" .... later adding a second age group of "5 to 7 years" ... The eldest groups focus was/is to introduce, integrate and prepare participants for Active Sport (Physical) and to increase positive social behaviors through integration with children of the same age (Psychological) ... The 5 to 7 year's group also acts as a feeder branch into the STFC / Colchester Elite Development & Bishops Stortford Swifts Fc youth football systems.

The Partnerships between SK and our affiliate clubs (stated below) have provided great grounds to further develop the children's fundamental skills and pathway opportunities. When the Soccerkids turn 7/8 years old they then are eligaible to graduate into a competitive affiliate football team (FA guidelines state children should not compete until 7 years old).

Plans have been made for the summer of 2016 to introduce a SK Sawbridgeworth Town U7 team that will play their games on the weekends for the town and maintain regular coaching with our Academy in order to target key coaching points taken from these matches.
