Important Soccerkidz Ltd Football Kits & Merchandise Information:

As we head into the new year we are changing the way our custom football kits and other items are ordered/purchased.........this is due to last years delays with the "Cubs" kits....

From now on we will only accept online orders via our website.

This is the most fast and efficient way as online orders will go direct to the supplier in hand speeding up the process as well as having the benefit of emailed confirmation and receipts for customer and supplier.......this will cut out any confusion that we may of had in the past.

We will be shortly adding individual items such as shorts, socks, shirts to the shop.

#SoccerkidzSaturday "Football World"

Coach Ben "Each week the team is showing great signs togetherness, team work, cohesion and friendship....We have one more week next Saturday, I hope as many of our team can make it as it's our last before the Xmas party"

Well done team, we managed to overcome a couple of hurdles today as we were double booked with a mass "Karate Party". This left us with our Cubs session taking place in a class room! Although we didn't have the best space for our little superstars we manged to adapt.....the small space actually gave us a different coaching perspective, concentrating closer on ball control...the smaller space for the Cubs is now something we will consider in future venues.

We were also "narrowed in" with the following Bears session as Coach Ben and his Soccerkidz, kicked a quarter a the Karate party in to touch! We adopted a similar coaching perspective to the previous cubs session but with added difficulties in a bigger space. Yet again the team didn't fail to impress!

"Football World" - SK Sunday @ Passmores 30/11/14

Pele......"success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do"

Another successful week of tackling, shooting and defending with our Soccerkidz Sunday players. The children are beginning to grasp the idea of the concepts within football that the coaches are teaching them, as a result the teams are showing great improvements each week regarding their individual skills etc.

We also had a special guest appearance from Mr "Buzz Light-year" himself. He showed everyone how it was done when it come to scoring against all of our goal fearless goal keepers.

keep up the good work team...let's keep going strong up until our Christmas break!

Football World - SK Saturdays @ Leventhorpe Sports Centre 29/11/14

Yet another great session today, well done everyone....coach Mason loves the rainbow tube so much that he's putting it on his Christmas list, let's hope he's been a good boy for Santa!

This week we executed the "skill building" games very well and showed great signs of basic ball mastery....it's a delight to see.

Our "game related practice" started off slow but gained efficiency once the children grasped the concept our multi-ball "2 v 2  attack v defense exercise".

Next week we are going to start with a 1 v 1 and progress to 2 v 2 using just 1 ball.....GO BEARS.....BEARs.....BEArs.....BEars.....Bears.....bears

Coaching Report: "The Art of Tackling"

Off the back of Saturdays extremely positive session regarding the kids development, the coaches agreed to replicate the same activities as the day before.

Follow the link for Saturdays coaching report http://www.soccerkidzltd.com/soccerkidzsblogs/

As we have 15 to 20  children regularly participating each week, the coaches are having a fun time tinkering and adapting each session to suit the groups main objectives. Up until our last session we've been unable to replicate the same coaching games our Saturdays due to the different development phases they are in.

HOWEVER....This Sunday we was able to successfully introduce the basic concepts of tackling and defending by replicating the same coaching plan as he day before. This is a huge sign of soccer development for our young stars in Harlow.

Next weeks focus: Bicycle Kicks!

This Short clip shows you what we will be teaching our players for our next session! we will have everyone replicating the same skill as this man in no time >>>

#SoccerkidzSaturday Coaching Report 23/11/14

We welcomed everybody to our new venue @ Leventhorpe Sports Complex.

As ever we had great fun with the Cubs, every week we show signs of development through listening, attention, team work and friendship. Our boys and girls are well on there way to being stars of the future....Keep up the good work Kidz!

Our Soccerkidz Saturday Bears team are really beginning to take shape....off the back of this weekends session the foundations have been set towards the formation of our first ever competitive team. However, we will not force this upon our stars until we all feel they are ready.

Coach Ben......"I am really please with how the coaching is progressing each week, we are now encourapating specifically suited; tackling, defending and attacking games to assist the players with their development towards competitive football games."

"Bruce the Bear" Tackles Gender Equality at Grass Roots Level

USA - 2 males to every 1 female participating in youth soccer
UK- 16 males to every 1 female participating in youth football (FIFA 2013)

Soccerkidz Ltd and other coaching companies that share similar values and concepts as one-another other are the best sources of child development as children have the opportunity to grow in a pressure free environment, learning and building upon a variety of newly found attributes before society ideologies gets the chance to make their minds up for them. most boys will play football at some point in their early years within a club, they will usually decide whether football is for them or not....... based on our own statistical research we believe that many girls do not get the opportunity to be involved in a football club-team at an early age which leads us to believe they have potentially missed out on a sport that can offer them far more than just a fun game as it ingrains confidence, encourages friendship and teaches them important values and ethics that we have been highlighting over the past month in our weekly blogs.

Bruce the Bear....."give your daughter a football before a barbie doll and let her choose her pathway. We are working towards creating a female Soccerkidz Elite team now for future competitions, with our coaching and direction we will take great pleasure in beating any boys teams we come up against!"

Further Reading......

The "Soccerkidz Child Development System" (SCDS) incorporates a number of different developmental concepts associated with healthy child development and future issues. Many scholars, publicist and pundits express their opinions on the Gender gap between male and female participation in football but not many of those attempt to do something about it however....we are in a position to do so!

Back in May when Soccerkidz launched its first session, one of our goals was to encourage the disbandment of social and stereotypical ideologies associated  to female participation in football through female participation within our own club, by doing so this would assist our overall aims of development. Since Soccerkidz Ltd launched we have coached over 100 children, around 7 of those being female. We now have 2 girls registered in our club and the Captain of our "Bears" team is a 5 year old girl named Ruhani, "She a Star."

#SoccerkidzLtd Weekend Coaching Report - 8/11/ & 9/11

Soccerkidz Team Talk......"Whether your child is a Soccerkidz first timer or a seasoned player we cater for all children's abilities and hold no discrimination in any sense of the word when it comes to participation at our club. The coaching structure of Soccerkidz will continue to develop with the club and we are all apart of making the right decisions when it comes to getting the best development results for the children. Without participation and enjoyment for the concept of football....there would be no fun game to play."

1......2.......3.......Soccerkidz!

Coaching Report:

This Sunday we had a new wave of Soccerkidz come along for a free taster session....lucky we had four coaches otherwise things could of got tricky.

We approached the session with the plan of splitting the groups into 2 separate teams (age specific) in to our respected cubs and bears teams. However,  upon our coaching debrief we all felt that it it took away the benefit of being able to use the whole hall for everybody. Therefore next session we will merge everyone together for the same activities so that we can target the bulk of the classes development needs and targets. We will assign two of our coaches the job of attending to the younger children's needs.

we will revert back to the coaching structure used in our #Soccerkidzsunday November 2nd session, as we feel this way we are more able to give the children more contact time with the coaches.

However as a result in changing to this style there maybe children that find the session to "easy" for their development needs, therefore we offer any parent or child that may start thinking this way to speak with our coaches so we can help guide everyone down the best path........we can also provide more advanced coaching at our Soccerkidz Saturday session, "we've had four children move from Harlow Sunday sessions to our Saturdays in Sawbridgeworth."

#SoccerkidzSaturday @ Sawbridgeworth Town FC is the longest running class and is ahead of the Wednesday and Sunday venues in Harlow with regards to the coaching.During the sessions we test our children with new challenges every week as the children themselves have now built up the skills to focus for longer and take on instruction better....this is a result of their prolonged attendance each week and manageable participation numbers. We are currently at the introductory stage of conditioned game play....this includes, defending/attacking/tackling. The newest coaching progression was "5v2 attack verses defense".

If anyone would like to seek further guidance in whats best for your child's development then contact us.....we are here to help.
